Red Sox ReSign Okajima

Despite the off year by Red Sox setup-man Hideki Okajima, General Manager Theo Epstein has decided to bring him back on another one year deal. Oki struggled last year against righties allowing them to hit .340 (lefties hit only .284). This was slightly alarming due to the fact that through Hideki's first three seasons righties hit .182, .234, and .309. Looking at this pattern it becomes quite clear that Okajima has slowly been figured out by right handed batters. But with Okajima's career success vs. Lefties still intact (.214 batting average), I would expect that Theo and Terry Francona look at Oki as more of a left handed specialist at this point in his career (35).
