Meriweather Accused Of Shooting Two. UPDATED.
According to Deadspin.com and Florida Radio Host Dan Sileo, New England Patriot's Safety Brandon Meriweather has been accused of shooting two men, one in the head, outside of a house party in Apopka, Florida on February 27th. Joe Morgan, attorney to one of the victims, in the accuser.
Meriweather started at The Blue Jeans Lounge in Apopka when his friend allegedly beat up a woman. Later in the night at a nearby house party, the woman's sister got the better of Meriweather's friend. At this point Brandon allegedly pulled out his gun and fired, the shot grazed one victim's face and struck the other in the head.
The Orange County Sheriff's Office are currently investigating the case, but no arrests have been made.
John Morgan, the men's attorney, has confirmed that one of the victims was grazed in his face, and the second was wounded in the cheek and exited out the back of his head.
Someone close to Meriweather has stated that IT WAS NOT HIM. Neither Brandon or The New England Patriots have made a statement.
UPDATE: The Boston Herald has claimed that The Orange County Sheriff Office has no report on the alleged incident. Meanwhile John Morgan (The "victims" attorney) claims there is an ongoing investigation.
UPDATE: The Orange County Sheriff has stated that Brandon Meriweather is not a victim, or suspect in any current investigation.
