Patriots To Work Out Sharper, Houshmandzadeh, Renaldo Hill.

Sharper has played the past 2 seasons in New Orleans. After an All-Pro season where he went on to win the Super Bowl, Darren followed it up with a disappointing injury infested season. Despite the injury the 35 year old Safety was instrumental just 2 seasons ago in New Orleans SB run.

TJ Houshmandzadeh on the other hand has been incredibly healthy over his career with only one really serious injury in 2003. But the problem with "Housh" is his drop in production. In 16 games last season he only had 30 receptions. Along side current Patriot Chad Ochocinco, TJ lead the league in receptions with 112. TJ could be a nice addition to this Wide Receiver group, he's a good route runner and possession style receiver that not only has experience alongside both Ocho in Cincinnati and TJ in Seattle.

Then there's Renaldo Hill. After starting his career as a CB, Hill was converted into a Free Safety in 2006 with Miami. Hill has that AFC East experience that Bill loves, along with a Nick Saban connection.

With Hill and Sharper coming in for workouts I'd assume that Brandon Meriweather's stay in New England could be in doubt.

Workouts will take place at 1:30.
